The Gap State High School’s focus is “educating the whole person in a supportive local school community”. There are modern facilities and a unique leadership training centre, with 24 adventure challenge activities, an impressive performing arts centre and extensive computing facilities.
A new multimillion dollar indoor sports centre has just been opened. English as an Additional Language/Dialect students can extend their English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills with lessons conducted by qualified Teaching of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) teachers.
